Navigation etc.

Grove Music, citing RISM, puts the first publication at 1558 in a book of madrigals by Barré. The William Squire Barclay edition puts the first publication at Venice, 1562 in Il Primo Libro de Madregali but without saying whose first book of madrigals and there are many. De Wert's own first book of 4-voice madrigals does not contain this madrigal. Once found, this page should be linked to the original.
